Seagull Insight

White winged creatures in flight across the blue
Their wingspan peaceful slicing through thin air
They've no use for the likes of me and you
Of our troubles seagulls shrug just don’t care

Their wingspan peaceful slicing through thin air
Our hustle seems to them frightly cliché
Of our troubles seagulls shrug just don’t care
Won't bother to give us the time of day

Our hustle seems to them frightly cliché
Lessons learnt for a life without confine
Won’t bother to give us the time of day
Squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine

Lessons learnt for a life without confine
They've no use for the likes of me and you
Squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine
White winged creatures in flight across the blue

Interesting angle on seagulls: Never thought of how they glide above us, oblivious to and of us. Neat! :) gw

One may say that you have flown among the seagulls for to be able to describe so vividly their behavior dearest, Line! Melodic Pantoum !

While traveling the open seas I saw the beautiful, graceful, and pretty amazing Seagull. It has the skill in so many ways to steal food. They are a cloud when flowing a shrimp boat. Lovely reminder. Nicely done.

Beautiful imagery, Bette. I can absolutely see the attraction to a shrimp boat.

All seagulls are just interested in spreading their wings in a a clear blue sky, not a care in the world, just cruising, wont bother to give us the time of day - they do tend to have human contact though if they can steal a meal. A brilliant entry for the contest, good luck Line. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Indeed, they care about our food not us. LOL

They cut a dashing sight across the skies and I love to sit nearby the sea and watch their antics. They are not above swiping a meal from one another or from unsuspecting humans either. I enjoyed your poem Line. This form is challenging for me. You did an excellent job on your entry. Happy holidays! : ) xxoo
