Notes About The Poem

Seagull

Beneath blue, cloudless, endless, heavenly line;
 
crisp briny breeze filled sea along the coastline,

          as squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine, 

dance above the ever-changing rippling waves, 

up and down floating sails towards the shore. Slaves 

to handouts and anything that moves. Nestling
 
near on brown seaweed, midst rocky isle waiting, 

          as squalling seagulls sip the morning sunshine.
