Sea Wolves

Galleons on uncharted oceans,
paradigms of pirate greed,
hijackers both vile and shameless,
honest merchantmen take heed!

Storied legends blaze through history,
rape and pillage mark the sway of
buccaneers hell bent on mayhem,
cannons blast in fierce array.

Without compassion for a compass,
murderously resolute,
they take no prisoners, show no mercy,
sack the sea lanes, dissolute.

Another example of excellence in poetry, Keith. The rhyme and rhythm are perfect and the imagery is vivid. I know I say it often, but I must (and will) say it again, your diversity with which you write is wonderful. With the knowledge you possess you touch on such a wide variety of subjects. I am in awe of your talent and you are always an inspiration to me. Well done, as always! Love and blessings, Robin

Ohoy, there Matey!:) Oh my, sounds to me like more Calamity! Love this, "compassion for a compass", would make the bearings way easier to take. In truth, I don't think Jolly Rogers had been so terribly jolly, do you? Oh la, true to the à la Bickerstaffe form of poetry...outstanding, as always! Hope you'll have the most wonderfully great new year, Keith! God bless you and yours! Love, Mikki
