Sea of Stars
I dreamt last night I was older
More confident, more refined
Caught somewhere between worlds
On a path that floated in time
The path was brick and mortar
It was gray with a hint of rust
Suspended in the darkness
Below
A sea of colored dust
There weren't any left turns
Or right ones that I know
The path may have never changed
But a breeze did begin to blow
The dust began to churn
From beneath the rocky path
And a cyclone of colors
So brilliant
It even stole my breathe
I don't know what the dream was about
Nor do I even care
If I could live in a peace like that
I would visit year after year
