Scriptural Protection - Proverbs 4: 23
Our heart is to be our prize
hold it close so not to harm
make sure nothing gets close
treat it as your holy arm
Fill your heart with God himself
for He is your one true guard
be sure you listen to His voice
always close following on hard
Be always to read and study
the only inerrant word divine
it will keep on the straight way
sitting receiving from the perfect vine
This is indeed true life satisfaction
being filled continuously by God's truth
God alone is man's real nourishment
providing what makes eternal youth
So guard your heart always
first and foremost always before
let nothing come before your Lord
so at last you'll go through heavens door
(Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.) (Proverbs 4:23)
