Appreciation for the moments
When my heart felt love pour over it,
Blended with hues of hope,
Inspirations like the beautiful in truth,
Wonders so alive they breathe light
Over the soul, into the spirit…
Understanding of the memories
Blessings rich and vibrant, erasing
Past worries, fears – tears tempting me
To listen to the darkness, the lonely
Ache falling from a place where amazing
Can’t linger – it falls under the melancholic
Urging of a past bitterness, timeless
Distinctions, preventing – such weakness
Cognizance flowing, embracing peace
Like the miracles so bold, they correct the
Shame, refuse to blame the consciousness,
The awareness that there is a love, blinding
Grasping the most intimate joy, the
Insight into rhythms, songs, reassurance
Faithful to the mind, the experience
Revealing the awakening of discernment,
The glow of a far off dream, instilled
With promises so alive they seem to breathe
This is the screen of awareness that bleeds
Truth and reason, a sense of the blessings
Found in forever, in grace and wisdom, in the dance
Between two memories, two promises, two
Believers who need only remember the ways
His love has poured out – cups overflowing – the gift of grace!
