Science Faction

How far we’ve come
in this mechanized quantum
by silicon faction
the future held
our giddy and marvelous emporium

And if by chemical we could elevate
genetics design circumnavigate
such oblivious wonders
to an image
in an image
and in ourselves a God created

Lo and behold we present A.i.
the science of splendors for scientific patronage
the saints of everlasting increasing knowledge
in the bible of processes writ
hail ye for the bright religion
of overindulgent intellect
shall shine into our heaven
and tinker toy with this our own creation

Aye for we shall pick at the thread
unravel the atoms fabric
deeper into the mysterious peek
to say we have discovered it

There by all the grandeurs we become
the evermore contorted and exploding sun
and in such brilliance our destruction conceive
the finger upon the trigger
of our gun

So now we say rejoice in chaotic
rejoice you all for this is the dabbling of progress
even more ways in which to believe
tiny compartments in which to perceive
so intricate
and ever to dismantle the ire
of children amongst the breeze-blocks of an empire

How far we’ve come
and how stupendous we can in detonation
destroy
everything we have done
