School Love

Together they walked,
Hand in hand,
In harmony of each others beauty,
Whispering to each other with the sway of their walk,
“This will last forever.”
So much in love,
So much devoted to one another,
One last kiss,
Before the school day ends,
And the little girl,
Softly starts giggling,
And walks away.

Amanda, I really like the sentiments expressed there, it reminds so much of that time in my own life. Young love is so precious and you express it seloquently. P.S. Have you any Irish connections? My name is Déirdre Ó Maidín and the English translation is Déirdre Madden. Let me know - just curious
