Schindler's List-Music, Melody

Oh, that music from the movie, so impassions me! That haunting violin, with its moving virtuosity. Notes fill the air of man's most craven inhumanity to man. The reminder that it can indeed, verily happen again. One man, Schindler, saved so many precious Jewish lives. Some to this very day, because of him generations still do thrive. Would you stand up for your fellow man, as he once did? Or are you a selfish sort who seeks his own glory, with the miniscule heart of a katydid? January 11, 2020 7:45 PM PST

G'day Panagiota … this bloke never sought glory or fame; just to preserve as much life as he could. A very special human indeed. Your final verse asks a very relevant question - Lindsay

Interesting to me: Today, Schindler, a notorious womanizer, would be excoriated and vilified by the media. Living when he did, he was given a pass. Shows you that even a person with a fault or two -- God forbid! -- can do a WORLD of Good! We are so quick to judge and condemn now. Thanks, Panagiota. ~ Gershon

Right on, my friend! The Blame Game is evil and rides the horns of the Internet at Break- neck speed. We all fall prey to believing what we see, hear and read. Reputations can be devastated.and yes, there are evil people...who the innocent need to know about. Panagiota....

Hello, Pixie. What a fantastic point. "l Lights that save",,wow...there are so many of these. I have met thousands in my life who were and are working on making the world a better place. They are quiet and not in the headlines. Honored by your visit, and Tom and Line! Panagiota xx

How far would we go to stand up for what we truly believe in, or would the cock crow three times and would we walk away. Harrowing film Panagiota. Tom

We don’t know until we’re tested but we pray and press in listening to God, walk the straight path with love and kindness. May God give us His strength...He will He will... (Kim)

Agree,Tom. Life in any nation is becoming more harrowing each day. We just live in denial. Hidden in our homes behind screens till horror knocks on our door. We chase butterflies and moonbeams whilst death becomes the New Normal. Watch how few responses there will be to this poem! Meatloaf, sex and plastic straws would be a far better choice. Panagiotaxx

Great tribute, Panagiota. And most excellent question indeed. Does a hero lie dormant within us? And really, is there not one cause out there worth our passion and commitment. What a dream to wish everyone would like to leave this world a better place!

Line! This IS one of those meaningful and most touching comments ever!" Does a hero lie dormant within us. "An inspiration if there ever was one!" Many are trying to leave this world a better place and withstand ridicule, harassment and fists of fury. But, if we close our eyes to evil~ it's a death warrant for future genarations. Panagiota xx
