Scavenger Hunt

                      Their feathered shields
                      like steel, shimmer in sunlight.

                     Gobbling, wobbling  on thorny feet
                     without flight;

                      foraging through leathered leaves
                      that autumn left behind,

                      acorns lay abundant,
                      for hungry turkey's to find.
