SCATTERING EMBERS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ rustling hedge shakes free~ red breasts scatter like embers claim the thawing earth. Winter’s grip splits at the seams. The earth exhales. The worms stir.
