Scars

In life we all carry scars
some are childhood scars
others are adult scars
they can be battle scars
from emotional or verbal
attacks on our character
they may be actual battle
scars from wounds received
others carry accidental scars
falling and hurting themselves
or may be operational scars
from stitches or surgery
whatever the scar may be
we all carry some type of scar.
It is in the healing that we all heal.
It is in positive outlook and
in forgiveness of ourselves
and others that we heal.
as we heal all scars will fade.

Love your poem we all need to adjust to forgive. Even almighty God chooses to tumble a mountain and destroy evil before it leaves bigger scars

Thank you Phyllis … a topic that most of us can relate to. It's the hidden scars that tend to take more time to heal - catch you soon Phyllis - Lindsay

Hi my friend so nice to see your name. Yes hidden scars take long to heal. Have minor surgery next month so only a couple of stitches to heal and hope that is all for a long time. love phyl.

Excellent Phyl. As you say we all carry scars of one type or another. In acquiring those scars there are lessons to be learned and the scars are there to remind us of those lessons. If we are wise we will learn and remember but not let it take away our joy. Great job here. Love it. God Bless, JB
