Scarlet Sin
Let me take you in-
And put my arms around your heart-
And take the load of your scarlet sin-
To help you stand, and then impart-
Release all the pain you hold in deep-
I’ll lock it away and we can forget-
I’ll give you something new to keep-
So no more will you have to fret-
I’ll take the load of your scarlet sin-
And together dear we shall yet win-
