Scarlet Autumn

Here come leaves of brown, yellow, orange, and most importantly, red,
to show that autumn is far from dead.

Watch these red, scarlet, vermillion, ruby, and crimson leaves dance
and their slow, beautiful fall is surely worth one's glance.

Every tree with red leaves are the elegance of fall,
which is also a gift and joy accessible to all,

to enjoy that delicious turkey meal,
an experience that is quite ideal.

And remember, all the red leaves that fall down on the ground,
count them as blessings all would have all around.

Wonderful imagery and attitudes in this lovely poem, Vermilion. I wish we had more color all the time.

Yes. I agree Autumn comes in varieties of red hues. Excellent example.

Red definately catches the eye the most Vermillion. The lovely autumn trees are dressed to impress and I love every minute of autumn that goes by too quickly. A lovely poem to celebrate autumn! : )

Autumn wouldn't be as dramatic or as beautiful without the reds, Vermillion. A wonderful piece! Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
