Have you ever seen a ghost? Flittering all around Or maybe a dark shadow Floating off the ground Maybe you heard a funny sound You did not recognise Or a face in the mirror With big black starey eyes Ever had the covers pulled off you When your're asleep in bed Heard some funny voices And thought they were in yor head Thought that you were being watched And saw that no-ones there Had the horrible feeling That someone's behind the chair Maybe it's your angel Keeping you nice and safe Or is it something nasty To come and take your place
