Scales of Justice

You can't certainly put a price on freedom
But if something's coming in the way of you having it
There's no price that you won't pay
For there's nothing greater than freedom

It only took me lying on that edge
That I noticed how much we take for granted
That when granted comes for pay back
We at loss for we took too much

Therefore you can't certainly put a number,
To the lure of freedom over that of being deprived it
Thats why at times money is and isn't everything
Cause freedom can be bought but its more valuable than money

It's sad just how many people have lost their freedom
When scales were tipped the other side of money
But come to think again, that's the price of freedom
Even if it's one's freedom being put to scale by another's freedom

There is a lot we take for granted till that day the granted Police take it away. Mind you, when I talk to some officials, I would gladly lose my freedom for tenderly strangling them.
