Scales of Despair

the scale is stuck
it won't go up
and, worse, it won't go down
so here I stand
towel in hand
fat and sporting a frown

WEll, I don't want that scale to go up at ALL!!! But I wholly get your wanting it to go down! I threw out my scale five years ago. Just could not take seeing it any more. I gained ten to fifteen pounds, and it was very new for me because I had kept the same weight fairly consistently through all my adult life. I think I am at last ready to try a diet again. Counting calories simply is not working. Back to the old ATkins diet. (it will be my KICKOFF diet!) Hope it works like it did last time!
