If I say "can you see?"

And you answer, "What?"

Back to me.

My reply then would be

"if you can see 'what'

and that's what you believe you see?"

Then what are you looking at?

For what, is not what I see.

For I behold my vision,

for my vision is me.

And 'what' is yours!

And what we are focusing on, and what we perceive to see is what we do see, and you are so correct in the writing of "for what is not what I see." This is the crux of why some words work for some, but not at all for others. I am jumping back in for another peek, because I know this is so profound I have missed more than I have noticed. This is intense.
