Say Nothing
As actions speak louder than words,
And words are seldom said these days
I watch strange bodies move
See what they have to say
And catch the reflection of my own twisted shape
Bent and manipulated
By the weight Of a grief unspoken,
And silence is a hard habit to break
And silence is not golden
But dark and lightless
And silence has nothing to say
Ever,
I close like a clam
Rock shut
Shut up,
My tongue is like a caged animal,
Kept captive to long
It may never survive in the wild,
The beast could do some damage
Better to bite it
And say ….
