Body decays, it’s clear we’ve lost our way
A wasted life, measuring loss and gain
Unable to keep dark fear forms at bay
Gift of free will boon, has since become bane
We’re bound hand to foot by the ego chain
Yet freedom ours, if we cease to wander
In deep silence and stillness, bliss ingrain
Each breath a prayer, in childlike wonder
Cessation the way, when love’s our mainstay
Erst feral fears and desires, to rest lain
Head and heart aligned, the false falls away
Looking back know, our waywardness inane
Being cause of suffering and our pain
We’re free now, having chosen surrender
Lamp of love is lit in our heart again
Each breath a prayer, in childlike wonder
Once we go in within, earth life mere play
Equal for us then, are both sun and rain
Fearless soul presence, overcomes clouds grey
God Himself cleanses our past karmic stain
Melding with oneness, this life’s not in vain
Within heart we feel the soundless thunder
Bliss pulsations cascade, by night and day
Each breath a prayer, in childlike wonder
Bliss rapture renews, without any strain
As love grows, we leave no hearts asunder
Luminous with light, is our central vein
Each breath a prayer, in childlike wonder
