My fantasy: to play the saxophone. My soul poured out in jazzy melodies; soft, supple nuance, sensual in tone. I picture in my mind sweet harmonies - aural aromas of sad elegies, or spicy Latin rhythms of romance, or reveries that make the people dance.

A lovely piece John sounding the echoes of the saxophone so well, have you heard Amy Dickson, an Australian but superb on the saxophone. Have a blessed day, Gordon

Thank you for the tip, my friend. I listened to a couple of Amy Dickson pieces on youtube: Faure's Pavane and The Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. Loved them both. Appreciate your kind words. Be blessed ~ John

So dreamy! I used to go and listen for hours in my youth. I may have had a crush on that handsome saxophonist. I loved this John. My only complaint, your poem ended too soon! Blessings xxoo

Connie, that's the kind of complaint that most warms my heart! You are a sweetie to say so. I'm glad I could kindle some fond memories of a winsome musician from your past. My mom had a longtime crush on a piano player... ah, music!

You must have the soul of a saxophone (even if you don't play it) you speak the language of nuance and harmony, you are one cool dude :)

I reckon that may be the first time this math nerd poet has ever been called one cool dude... maybe the initials are more suited to me: OCD, haha! Thanks for the great comment, Michelle, it made my day ~ John

Now, this is a lovely fantasy that you could make a reality. My husband played saxophone in school. When we first started dating, he would play for me, but he hasn't played in years. I miss it. I also miss my favorite saxophone player, Clarence Clemons. He was amazing. His solo in Jungleland brings me to tears. He could also get a stadium full of people to dance. Thanks for sharing your fantasy and bringing back some memories for me. Blessings, Rhonda xx

I've seen Bruce in concert 13 times. Can't wait for the next tour. :) Clarence can never be replaced, but his nephew, Jake, has fit in very well with the band.

Clarence Clemons had more soul in his little finger than I do in my whole body. He is missed by many; no doubt a big reason for the Boss' success and popularity. Billy Joel had a great sax player too (Mark Rivera) as did Paul McCartney in his Wings era (Thaddeus Richard). Glad to hear you're a fan. I'll be sure to invite you to my first concert, haha! ~ John
