Saving Judgement

Listen to poem:
Black lies and deceits were hidden within the cracks and crevices Along with all the truths hidden that fears your greatest nemesis But there was nothing that can be hidden that can’t be truly seen All the decades of cruelty, where you purposely tried, to demean Ushers standing in silence as each of the guilty crimes were read Where even the judge’s face paled, then in shame hung his head With the real truth soon exposed, more evidence, came into play And purposeful experience upon the twelve jurors’ had been laid Each one unable to condemn, as each had played their own part To rip away the innocence, of what was just a good honest heart Reverse psychology was played, to get the culprits desired effect Their guilty ridden consciousness, on you they wanted to project These shutter island personas, unsure of which of them to blame And a judge who had no choice; but to condemn them, all insane With the players playing the players all within one confined room Wardens held their shovels ready, to clear out the pending doom Its aftermath was not a pretty sight as the hidden truth prevailed Then the skins and bones were scrutinized with the lies un-veiled Each warden scooped up the deceits in their own respective pails To re-address some kind of balance, on those judgemental scales Put up yet again before the high judge, but are no lesser accused None of them; before God, or judge, are to be remained excused But exposed for ruining others innocence, to fuel their own ends Thus to enjoy their dividends without once making their amends But the naivety of your innocent, does not allow you to walk free No excuses for ignorance; therefore, the judge ignored your plea
