Saving Grace
I’m just so sick and tired
Of pretending I’ll be okay
When all I’ve ever wanted
Was to be given the time of day
The greatest desire that flows
Through my veins
When my death comes
I’ll say what I need to say
You are not what you’ve done
We have all made the wrong
Mistakes in life
This life is a fight
But no matter what you think you know
You are never alone
You are never too far from
Saving Grace
Some nights I don’t think it’s even me
Inside of my mind
There’s things that I have done,
There’s things I have said
That makes me believe I deserve to be dead
What if they saw the real me
Would they run and flee
Oh so far away from me
You are not what you’ve done
We have all made the wrong
Mistakes in life
This life is a fight
But no matter what you think you know
You are never alone
You are never too far from
Saving Grace
I’m so tired of making the same mistakes
I need to run so far away from the place
My mind is my prison
My heart is my downfall
Take me out of my hell
If you’ve ever felt this way
Won’t you take my hand
Let’s start a new day
The sun will rise again
Let’s pave a new path
Leave behind the sin and the shame
It’s time to shine again
You are not what you’ve done
We have all made the wrong
Mistakes in life
This life is a fight
But no matter what you think you know
You are never alone
You are never too far from
Saving Grace
