Saved
Not too long ago, I thought, I was lost
Searching; all the wrong places with my fingers crossed
I was trapped; fidgeting around in circles, just waiting and dreaming
While the very depths of me, screaming, as to how water is constantly streaming
But then one day I got sick and I figured “the end” would soon be near
And yet something else happened which caused me to see everything clear
Somewhere inside my cocoon-like-darkness, a thunderous light surges in
While my eyes closed, there was a voice that slowly crept beneath my skin
It was apocalypse in silence, imbued into a fire that burns from the inside out
Destroying the templates of fear and pushed nightmares to doubt, doubts
And out from the bewilderment, was where I found myself, as a new creature
My spirit washed perfectly; in hand, a promise to the grandest of all adventures
I was born again like a butterfly, with colorful new visions; as a brethren
Through God’s Word, I was whole again and soulful in faith; as one of God's children
Now, I think i was never lost in the first place but only found, where I needed to be
I had to lose my old self into a new one; it's an inevitable awakening to inevitably
I am who I am in Christ; in spirit, and soon in body and soul
