Save Us All
This is the basement of my life
So cold so dark so intimidating
The world seems blank
As I stare out there searching for some type of reason
This life of mine so wasted by fear intoxicated by its simplicity
I bury it deep.down I enslave this emotion
Chains and locks make the man
Or break him down
There is no room for any light
When a corrosion of this love
Has no spark has no charge no stability
The body all but a shell of itself
Easily broken no protection no safety net
Without any remorse the words run them down
Want them to be in the moment
So shelfish so negative so calculated
I broke them down too
So close to me now so far
When does it all come around
The bridge so run down wish I could repair it all
Sorry cant patch it all fix it to forgettable
When they take so much abuse I can't take it away
Our hurt runs deep My hurt dug the hole
I just hope there is one piece of rope to build that bridge again
And save us all.
