Save the Planet -- Fat Chance

From bottles, to cartons and cans
Can't we do better than that, man?

From paper to plastic, then to recycling
Let us now go from motor cars to bicycling

I am laughing my guts out here. I am surrounded by people who would have a difficult time balancing a bicycle. I could never get on one again after my bike wreck on Feb 5, 1984.

Hey, give bicycle riding a whirl. You won't regret it. I didn't even own a car between ages 39 - 45, and I rode a bike happily til 63, which brought the onset of physical...And you're right: Folks often think of bike riding as 'regression.' I was riding my bike until age 63, when I began to completely fall apart physically...(Now I can barely walk a block or two---although I'm still a dynamo from the waist up. LOL. :) gw

Fat chance indeed, great message though GW. I do try and walk rather than drive ... especially at this time of year with the TT races and all those leather clad bikers around ... gives me better chance to ogle lol:-) hugs jan xx

Maybe I should have titled this, 'Slim Chance,' given the P.C. knocks that await me. LOL. Thanks for the support, Jan! :) gw
