Save Me From Myself
I can't seem to find
that thing, that niche, that groove
I can not put my finger on
what makes something in me move
My mother told me to search for love
as if it can be seen
My friends say search my recesses
whatever that may mean
I just want to find that place
where all emotions dwell
That place that's deep inside of me
that protects me from this hell
All the devastating losses
and the persecutions too
the numerous disasters
that come with loving you
I know what I seek
and I know it does exist
To find it before I self destruct
is my only wish
