Saucers

Saucers knitting 
their idioms 
on the rolling hills, 
bumping and bashing 
as they scramble 
to lay their thoughts down well. 
One skittered into a rock, 
     the other tripped, 
crashing down 
   upon his pal 
and both shattered 
      as they hit the ground.
