Satin Sheets
You may feel “Satin Sheets Slide”
You may think it’s a woman’s thing
But please condescend to my way of thinking
Come with me
Into the realm of the satin-sheet-feel
Erecting monumental memories of me
Come slip with me, come slide with me
Forget about your masculinity
Celebrate with me my femininity
Remind me of who I am
Woman!
The softer side of you that God instilled
The side that brings out that tender smile
The side that holds me with passion
The side that kisses my tears away
The side that gives me your shoulder to cry on
You may feel, “Satin Sheets Slide”
You may think it’s a woman’s thing
But please condescend to my way of thinking
Come with me
Into the realm of the satin-sheet-feel
Erecting monumental memories of me
Come slip with me, come slide with me
