Santa's Predicament

Santa’s Predicament
Elves gave Santa the green light to go
But his sleigh couldn't move in deep snow
Santa said "have no fear
I'll put on more reindeer"
It worked and he cried out " ho ho ho."

One last call but then disaster struck
Last chimney he went down he got stuck
Had too many mince pies
That swelled belly and thighs
Was rescued by guys in a fire truck.

G'day Tom … it's really odd Tom. Say, if it was mid July; a bloke in a red flannel suit and false beard; a sack over his back, and climbing down a chimney would the fire brigade be called - perhaps after his arrest maybe - another fine effort Tom - Lindsay

December 6, 2018 at 2:30 AM
Haha especially if his sack was full of jewellery lol.

Love this, Tom. You are a master of the limerick world...but it's hard enough for us all to remember all of Santa's reindeer names now, the last thing we need is to have to remember a few more..lol Good luck and best wishes for a win in the contest. Charlie
