SANTAS LITTLE SKELF

Santa’s Little Skelf Santa Clause is here again It`s almost Christmas day But Santa has a problem he can’t sit on his sleigh. Every time he sits down he jumps up from his seat He`s been standing up so long he`s now got aching feet. I think I`ll try a soft seat as he sits down on the couch But just as Santa sat down he cried a mighty ouch. He leaped so high he bumped his head when he felt the stinging pain Poor Santa started to wonder if he`d ever sit down again. Papa elf was worried about all the girls and boys If Santa couldn`t ride his sleigh they won’t get any toys, We’ve got to get to the bottom of this said Santa with a frown I`m afraid I have no choice but to take my red breeks down. There must be something sharp in the seat of Santa`s pants Could it be a needle or a pair of angry Ants? They searched them high and low and even turned them inside out But they couldn’t find the object that made poor Santa shout. Maybe I`ll buy some new ones as he sat down on the chair Then a stinging pain went through his butt and he flew right through the air. Then the elf had an idea as he stopped to think and pause I know what the problem is but It`s a job for Mrs Clause. So they put poor Santa to his bed and laid him on his tum Then Mrs Clause got her magnifying glass to look at Santa`s bum. Santa was feeling worried as he looked at Papa elf Then with a shiny pair of tweezers she pulled out Santa`s skelf. A tiny piece of timber that came from Santa`s sleigh But at least I`ll get a seat now as I`ve been on my feet all day. We will rub down Santa`s sleigh and get a plaster for his bum Then fill his sack with presents and toys for everyone. So sleep tight boys and girls as Santa`s on his way It will take more than a little skelf to cancel Christmas day. He`s flying through the night sky with a cushion for his bum Ho Ho Ho and jingle bells merry Christmas everyone. THE END
