Parody of 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"
You better not scowl
You better not be fowl
You better not wine
I’m telling you while
Santa Claws is meowing around
He snuggles you when you’re sleeping
She purrs when you’re awake
He sees all things from high in his perch
“So, be good for goodness' sake!”
So, you better pet me
You better make me purr
You best be nice to me
I’m telling you now
Santa Claws is prowling around
He paws at you when he’s ignored
He scratches on the furniture and carpet floors
He’s got deer mice to pull his pillow for a sled
He knows if you’re still up in bed
He’ll lick up any Christmas cream left out for him
And he’ll leave you with the strangest dreams
He may nibble at Mom’s cookies
He’ll prance around your presents with absolute feline presence
He’s been eyeballing the Christmas Tree
Is this a new scratching post for me?
Perhaps with purrfect catlike canter,
Santa Claws will leave a present of his own,
It may be a bit stinky, but it will be from
the bottom of his heart.
- Meowie Christmas!
Of course, my cat's real name is Satan Claws!
