Sandy's Castle

Sandy builds a sand castle
She build it very high
She wants it's sandy towers
To reach up to the sky

She makes some doors and windows
Adds shells for decoration
Her friends they look and say to her
"What a wonderful creation"

Then as the day, it passes on
The tide comes in again
Poor Sandy's castle is no more
Not one part of it remains

Our Sandy looks at where it was
But she does not mind at all
For building it was so much fun
She'd really had a ball

Vera: Some good lessons in this. Sometimes we overlook the pleasure of pouring and feel the only enjoyment can come from "consumption". Thanks for a great reminder. Keep them coming and sharing with all of us on the soup. oldbuck

Doesn't this one remind you of days of old, when I wrote it I thought of the days when I were young playing on the beach and building sand castles, such fun, thank you so much for reading and take care......Vera

Hi Daniel, well yes I agree with you, building is the fun part and this is me when I was little, we spent a lot of time at the beach in those days and building castles was the best part of it, thank you so much for th lovely comment and take care......Vera
