Sands of Time

< It was a cold windy night as we snuggled on the beach under the gaze of the moon and stars.
We were serenaded by the melody of the waves as they crashed upon the shore.

I was in awe of God's creation. From the immensity of the universe to the peacefulness of the sound of the ocean, to the beauty my eyes beheld as i looked into your eyes and kissed your tender lips.

I gave my heart that night, gladly.

They say a white rose symbolizes purity and true love. That night on the beach my heart was a single white rose for you.

The sands of time trickles through the hourglass, at times too quickly, at times too slowly. The days come and go and today my heart is a garden of white roses for you.

This reads as a love poem with sensual overtones that are reinforced with superb use of imagery. Emile. #7
