Sand
SAND
Help me write my life in the sand
Let the tide pull me out again
Towards the sunset that sinks so deep
Life is changing my thoughts have feet
To run away is to never go back
Change is constant a natural fact
Beneath the breath the heart beats on
In my mind I'm singing the song
Lift me up, plant me firm
Rake my feelings of pain that I've earned
What is relevant, what is deep?
Where is my spirit? Is it asleep?
The last rays of the sun depart
I finally know now
How I made it this far.......
