Sanctuary
Enough of this incessant chatter!
Is there anyone out there that can speak without making a noise
and leaving the next victim in a state of disrepair
and despondency?
Oh, for the quiet and solitude
that surrounds you -
the warmth you give
revives my weary heart.
You may not realise
or perhaps you do,
but you are important to me -
a part of my life that I do not wish to lose.
So, I pray to the Lord God that hears my prayers,
please let it be -
let him stay with me...
