Samson- the Musician

When Orpheus sang on his flute
All Nature listened falling mute
But when Samson sang
It sounded like a bang
That sleeping babies woke up with a jolt

Whoa!! That is a person with a really bad singing voice for sure. I enjoyed reading this one. Thanks for sharing the humor and for dropping by my page. Sara

So did your babies sleep or were they shrieking all the time? Their mother must have had a dreadful time.... ha ha !

Orpheus charms, Samson not so much. I hear the disharmony that jolts the babies. You prove that Limericks don't have to be on indecent themes.

Thanks a lot Vijay....Limericks are just fillers when a poet runs short of profound thoughts to turn into verse (with apology to all limerick writers! )

Thanks a lot Victor for your humorous comment ! He became a flop in everything after he lost his locks. ... may be the reason that his music failed to allure.... :) :)
