Sam

The locks cut off,
Power dissipates,
empty, he walks along,
as mere mortal without purpose.
A man of destiny,
grinding in the mill,
revelling to stupor,
 Years rolls bye .
Ignoring the signposts.
Contempt for inner guides,
shut the conscience.
Soul searching reflection severed
On Delilah's lap like a fool,
gave up strength for Lust,
Youthful days speeds away,
Tender whist were days of yore,
Hearts now hardens
Conscience now seared
will now weakened.
Vices takes roots deeper
Habits formed.
Imprisoned without walls.
They go on
On they go still.
in vain search for Peace
