Salvation

Never can I tell you, What I think or feel, But I faced the devil, And I think we struck a deal, The deal was short and to the point, But now I feel regret, I wanted every thing in vain, And this is what I get, No riches, gold, or wealth galore, Not even peace of mind, Just reminders of this deal, Is all I seem to find, So I turned around my life, So I can walk his road, The pathway up to heaven, Will lead me to the show, Everybody can get in, There is not a dress code, A one way ticket to the lord, Comes from in your soul, It took a life to make mine, Lessons learned untold, Never shall I forget, The stories the bible told, God can make the strong man weep, And turn water to wine, Flood the earth or make virgins birth, I’m glad he’s on my side, So with him I’ll lay my head, Never again to stray, I’ll stay good for my lord, until that rapture day,
