Salvation

a lion pride surround a straggling calf
its pitiful cries are heard -
as a lone bull charges

I see and hear things like this on TV when watching some programs and it is so distressing even though I know that is how it is. Great picture and Haiku describing it. Congratulations on this winner. Way to go. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara K

Thank you Paul, I'm happy to tell you the calf was saved this time, they say buffalo cause more injuries to humans than lions, Wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of one. Tom.
