Sailfish to Heaven

Jill warned Jack (up to a grasshopper's knee), "stay on the shore to dwell, or you're body will go to the raging sea, and your soul will go to Hell". Jack grabbed his stand-up fishing pole - said he, "I bet you sixty to seven, it may very well be, that I'll drown on the sea, but I'll catch a sailfish to heaven".

A lovely nursery rhyme, I enjoy the scene. If they serve fish in heaven, I'll go. Otherwise, I'll stick with my friends.

I don't quite get it, but it sounds super cool with the meter of nursery rhyme. Is it meant for that contest. I forget all the pictures shown

haha, it's not for a contest. I was joking around with a fisherman friend of mine, and it sort of popped into my head. I had his and his mom's name in it, but I just plugged in Jack and Jill. Something close to the 3rd and 4th lines were stolen from a folk song I was listening to. It probably doesn't make sense to my friend either.

Thanks Kim. My dad always used to say, "you're about up to a grasshopper's knee".
