Sail On, Graceful Clipper

(10 September 2025)

Sail on, graceful clipper, past the clouds and
Into undimmed skies of eternity.
Lift up on silvered sails, mounting higher
Until the sweet Face of thy Savior see.
No more battered and buffeted by storms
And let joy and glory your gilding be.
Sail on, graceful clipper, into unguessed
Realms of Eternity and find thy port
In the calm waters of thy heav’nly home
Where thou wilt find safe anchor, forever.

A clipper was a beautiful, graceful sailing ship that was built for speed during the tea trade of the 1800's.
