Safety Unwasted
"Safety", UnWasted
First, they told you; "it's for you"
Next, they told us; "It is for those you love"
Now, they tell us, who to blame
When will you see the damage being done?
I hear it said; "you're selfish"
I hear them say; "we cannot stress enough"
And now, the stores have mandates
When will you see the damage being done?
The internet; now censored
Even the military has been forced
This will never go away
When will you see the damage being done?
Now, I'm told, "to keep your job ...."
Why should I, have to sacrifice my views?
I do not fear what they say
When will you see the damage being done?
I understand how you feel
but, when they say; "it's for the greater good"
I take a pause; then I pray
When will you see the damage being done?
This is all so much bigger
And a ploy; as they're transferring our wealth
And they will do away with cash
When will you see the damage being done?
They may call it equity
Destroying statues and our history
Is freedom; now, in the past?
When will you see the damage being done?
No longer; afraid of dying
This is so much more than just an illness
There is tyranny at the door
When will you see the damage being done?
Until your wallet's empty
And your family is going hungry
Will you understand my view
When will you see the damage they have done!
