Obey all traffic signs and lights

'obey' is the most disobeyed word when it comes to traffic rules. 'drive in defensive mode' that is new read to me! lovely write. Happy writing dear poet. cheers.

Defensive mode is always the mode to drive in, 100% of the time. Also, courteous drive mode does a long way to keep you safe and alive. Congrats on your win in my contest.

Lin, OMG the road traffic and rage can get crazy. I try to remember to let people do their thing and not take it personally. Smiles!

Someone I used to know said when given the finger, he would put his hands up and shrug his shoulders as if to say I don't know what you mean. Then he would look up as if to say, why are you pointing to the sky and shrug again. I think you have a pretty good take on this. You don't strike me as an aggressive motorist! Maybe you're driving too calmly and that makes people really mad!

lol Duke. When people flip me the finger, even if traffic is not my fault, I smile and wave at them as if they were waving to me. Usually it brings out 2 fingers, so I use 2 hands to wave back.
