Sad Dizain
at a friend’s burial life slipped away
as vapor in air if it was nowhere
for family and friends he had held sway
they would miss his affections and his care
they learned to live together and share
they had worked hard and with lots of patience
overcome harsh struggle with endurance
with his sudden departure to heaven
they face the biggest test of their essence
will his values be sustained or broken?
