Oh, she is quite frail now and very old,
When she walks you can tell she is in pain;
Loves a nap in the sun and hates the cold,
Beautiful, I whisper- my tears like rain.
Oh, please time stop clicking, I scream in vain,
All she gives is unconditional love,
Its hard to think of her dwelling above;
She is an old cat and is my best friend,
Oh, her death- sorrow hard to let go of.
I held her to my heart until the end . . . .
