Sad Departed Endings
From deep internal memory
I reminisce about our past.
The good times & the bad
& the shadows of doubts cast.
For jealousy came reaping
Seeping into lovers gains.
And all it was achieving
Was a life of aches & pains.
At one point I was broken
And I couldn't see a way
To escape the painful feelings
That caused my heart dismay.
So sadly a choice was given
To & from each other self.
To regain the love we'd lost
If we were to achieve loves wealth.
So with that we had our reasons
To go our separate ways.
And continue on our separate journey
No longer afflicted by hurts affray.
