Yes, LOVE is ALL and without it we aren't living. However, love takes many forms and it is up to us to embrace it which sometimes requires a WILLING sacrifice.. Thanks for reading and commenting on "Sacrifice". Carole :D

And, yes, the song by Elton John was perfect IMO because, as he said, "it's no sacrifice" if you really love someone. You will do anything (almost) for them. Thanks for the fave too. Hugs backatcha! Religion and family are my life! When I say religion it is not an object but a relationship with Jesus my Lord and Savior. Some people give up their family because of a controlling person but also family should not be controlling either. Balance is key. But certainly there is a sacrifice, a coming together between man and wife - foremost even before the kids. A good poem to ponder :)

Hmm, I don't think I could give my identity! Unless for love to live meant for me to die. If all could live with love by my death, I would easily let God take me though because I am for sure love lies on that other side! a thought -provoking poem
