This is a very intriguing contest format.  Using four lines of another's poem and weaving them into a "new" collaboration.  The "bolded" lines are the four from the sponsor's poem.  I leaned a little bit to the dark side in my interpretation.

The label I hid on the wine bottle said cheap, boozy, available, needy it was easily seen in reddened eyes They told me of the psycho cats demise eerie boardwalk creaks near the white sand beach laying flowers on her vintage guitar Pouring the last of the wine in the sand had she succumbed to the dark allure of sabbatical dreams after quarantine 10/7/2020 Collaborate With Me Poetry Contest sponsor - Kim Rodrigues

Thanks Kim, it was a very intriguing contest. The muse mumbled a long "hmmmmm" upon first reading the theme.
