Rust And Bone

"don't get old!,"
     some old-timer
          once joked,
               but was it, though?
                    he gave examples...

silver hair,
     bad knees
          cloudy eyes
                bones crack,
                     mind hunting...

for a name
     says he's "rust and bone"
          youth, a ghost in mirrors
               damn,
                    he's got me worried!

If we're lucky enough to get there at least;-) Thanks for dropping by, Tom.

I like your Yalto form, Edward. I usually find that I have too much to say to use it but I’d be up to the challenge with the right topic. Rust and Bone was a great title.

It's best used for pithy musings/observations. When you write one, do let me know, Lin. I'd love to check it out!
